About Lily & Co.

At Lily & Co., our puppies are raised as part of our family from the very beginning.

Our puppies are raised in our Melbourne home as part of everyday family life, with lots of love, gentle handling and positive experiences from the very beginning.

We place a strong focus on early socialisation, gentle handling, positive experiences and age-appropriate development to help prepare each puppy for life with their future family.

Lily is our much-loved family dog, and her health, temperament and wellbeing guide every decision we make. She has been health and DNA tested, with her wellbeing always at the heart of our breeding plans. That same care is carried through to her puppies, with the aim of raising happy, confident and well-adjusted companions.

Ethically bred. Family raised.

Raised With Purpose, From the Very Beginning

Our puppies are raised in our family home with a strong focus on giving them the best possible start in life.

During their early weeks, we introduce Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), gentle daily handling and age-appropriate experiences designed to support confidence, resilience and healthy development.

As they grow, their world gradually expands. Puppies are introduced to everyday household sounds, different surfaces and environments, grooming and handling, play, people and the normal activity of family life. We also begin early foundations for toilet training, settling independently and preparing for life beyond our home.

Our goal is not simply to raise beautiful puppies, but to help each one develop into a happy, confident and well-adjusted family companion.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Mini Groodle is a cross between the Golden Retriever and Poodle, bringing together many of the qualities these two much-loved breeds are known for.

Golden Retrievers are renowned for their affectionate, friendly and people-focused nature, while Poodles are exceptionally intelligent, responsive and highly trainable. Together, Groodles combine these qualities into loving, clever, playful and social companions that thrive on being part of family life.

Mini Groodles are generally small-to-medium sized dogs, although adult size can vary depending on the parents and generation. Coat types can range from soft waves to curlier, more Poodle-influenced coats, with colours varying widely between litters.

No Groodle can be guaranteed to be completely non-shedding or hypoallergenic, and regular brushing and professional grooming should be expected.

Yes. Our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive DNA testing through Orivet, along with appropriate health screening prior to breeding. Results are reviewed carefully when planning each pairing, with health, temperament and genetic compatibility all taken into consideration.

Our aim is to make informed, responsible breeding decisions that support the health and wellbeing of both our dogs and their puppies.

Yes. We are delighted to confirm that Lily is expecting a litter due in October 2026, with puppies ready to go to their new homes in December 2026.

Lily is our apricot F1b Mini Groodle, approximately 10.5 kg, and Bruno is a red Miniature Poodle, approximately 9 kg producing gorgeous F1bb Mini Groodle puppies.

Based on their size, we expect this litter to mature into approximately 8–13 kg, and have a range of warm coat colours from deep reds, to apricots to creams.

Bruno was selected to complement Lily in size, temperament, health and genetics, with the aim of producing happy, healthy and well-adjusted family companions.

We will continue to share updates as the pregnancy progresses and once the puppies are born, including information on availability and the waitlist.

Our puppies are raised inside our family home, surrounded by normal everyday family life.

From their earliest days we incorporate Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), gentle daily handling and carefully introduced, age-appropriate experience.

As they grow, puppies are exposed gradually to household sounds and activity, different surfaces, toys, people, grooming and handling, new experiences and opportunities to explore. We also begin early foundations for toilet habits, settling independently and adjusting to the routines they will encounter in their new homes.

Our aim is to give each puppy a wonderful foundation for becoming a confident, adaptable and well-adjusted family companion.

Early Neurological Stimulation, or ENS, is a series of brief, gentle exercises introduced during a specific stage of a puppy’s early development.

ENS forms one small part of our broader puppy-raising approach. As the puppies grow, this develops into age-appropriate socialisation, handling, environmental exposure, play, learning and confidence-building.

Every puppy will receive appropriate veterinary care, vaccination, microchipping and parasite treatment before leaving Lily & Co.

Puppies will remain with Lily and their littermates until they are at least eight weeks old and ready for the transition to their new homes.

Families will also receive information and guidance to help make those first days together as smooth as possible.

Families interested in a Lily & Co. puppy are welcome to join our waitlist.

We love hearing what families are looking for, including preferences around sex, colour and other characteristics. As the puppies grow and their individual personalities emerge, temperament and suitability for each household will also be considered.

Our aim is to help each puppy find a home where they will be loved and truly suited to family life.

And our support doesn’t end when your puppy leaves us — we’re always happy for our puppy families to stay in touch and reach out for guidance as their puppy settles into their new home.
